Thoughts on Av A Word this afternoon at Brighton

September 11, 2017

Av A Word goes in search of his fifth win of the season this afternoon in the 4.25 at Brighton this afternoon. He teams up with Luke Morris who was on board for two of his victories at the track. He handles the course well and is three from three at the venue. He put up his best performance yet last time out and despite creeping up the weights keeps improving. The ground is a slight question mark as he has done most of his running on a quicker surface but that is not particularly by design, his action is neither one way or the other and he probably gets a mile and a half so from a stamina perspective its unlikely to be an issue.

Despite being only six runners it looks a tight little contest, Oden is still improving and Haulani is already a course winner, will handle the ground and may find a bit more for blinkers.
