Kubler Racing have moved!

November 19, 2018

An exciting new chapter begins at Sarsen Farm. A stunning purpose built training yard sent out its first lot last week. Right in the center of historic Upper Lambourn this tastefully built yard blends into the historic surroundings whilst providing horses and staff the most modern of facilities.

The stables were designed in conjunction with Alan Creighton of the Irish Equine Centre to ensure optimum health and ventilation for horses. Alan is an expert in equine health and advises many leading trainers on how to improve the environment for their horses.

Each box is spacious and rubber matted to ensure each horse has plenty of room. There are different types of box to suit the temperament of each horse. Research has shown that different horses prefer different amounts of interaction with other horses in a stable environment and some prefer to see lots of the outside world whilst others prefer less.

We also have a newly built accommodation hostel for the staff. The team are excited by the new accommodation with fully fitted kitchens and underfloor heating. The traditional roof tiles and brickwork building blends seamlessly into the heart of the Upper Lambourn conservation area.

Other features in place are a brand new Claydon horsewalker with double panels and a large monarch lunging ring with a top of the range Andrews Bowen surface.

The second phase of the development is well underway with the renovation of a dilapidated curtilage listed barn being given a new lease of life as an office, tack rooms and most importantly a stunning new owners lounge. A further twenty boxes will also be added as well as a storage building and a further horsewalker.

There have been plenty of new arrivals to the string and there is a real buzz in the yard. These are exciting times for everyone involved. It has been a huge effort by many people to get this far and this is a really exciting moment for all of the team here. If you would like to come see the facilities please get in touch to arrange a visit.
