Thoughts on Atlantic Heart

Atlantic Heart makes her debut this evening at Wolverhampton in the 7.50. Jack Mitchell takes the ride in the six furlong maiden. Atlantic Heart has done some encouraging work at home, and if able to overcome her lack of experience she should be capable of running a nice race in this company.

Astral Beat sets the standard based on his three runs to date but is probably vulnerable to an improver. Nomasee although only fifth on debut back in May its certainly a race that has worked out well and he was far from disgraced on that occasion, whilst Hayat should build on her debut and the drop in trip could well be plus. Sunday Justice is another who could step forward.

Atlantic Heart races for Daniel O’Connor, she is by Twilight Son out of the Cape Cross mare Heaven’s Sake. She will be led up today by Sammy Barnett who cares for her at home and overseen by Shaun Johnson, he is regularly ridden by Michael Coles.
