Thoughts on Lisa’s Legacy chance at Nottingham TomorrowJuly 18, 2013
Lisa’s Legacy runs in the 5.20 at Nottingham tomorrow evening. James Doyle rides in the mile handicap. Lisa’s Legacy is in good shape following his first two runs for us. He was only beaten three quarters of a length last week at Kempton when having to travel wide for much of the race from an unfavourable draw. Much better berthed tomorrow in stall four he should have every chance in a race that lacks depth. He will probably benefit from a step up in trip but has shown enough over a mile to think this was worth having a shot at before his handicap mark rises due to his good run last week.
The main danger looks to be West End Lad who is a five time course and distance winner and is on a mark he has already won from this season. Mcmonagle ran his best race for a while last time and if able to repeat that performance should be competitive.
