Thoughts on Silhouette today

June 18, 2015

Silhouette makes his debut at Chelmsford today in the 5.55 (Thursday June 18th). Steve Drown rides the two year old colt in the six furlong maiden. A straight forward colt he will benefit from the experience as he isn’t the fastest learner. He will also be better suited by seven furlongs in the near future but this looked a good opportunity to teach him what racing is about. The sole debutant in the field it will be a good experience for him.

Hot tip for Home of the Brave for Friday from one of the owners… Has been working very well at home. With five of the eight runners already having placed form in their short careers it’s a competitive affair at its level. With varying levels of improvement likely it’s hard to pick one ahead of the rest, but Gerrards Quest looks the biggest danger.
