Brief thoughts on Ducissa at Kempton this evening

August 24, 2016

Ducissa runs in the 7.10 at Kempton this evening. Luke Morris rides the well bred filly in the 7 furlong maiden. She ran a nice race on debut and should have learned from the experience. This looks a better opportunity for her Ducissa than her first assignment with Cinders having gone close several times over shorter returning from an absence presenting the most solid form whilst Tegara ran well on her debut as a two year old but was less encouraging on her sole start this year. Nellie Deen might be better dropped back to seven furlongs now too.
