Thoughts on Amor Invicto

January 14, 2017

Amor Invicto heads to Wolverhampton for the 5:45 this evening (Saturday January 14th). Rob Hornby takes the ride in the extended mile apprentice  handicap. After a solid reappearance on the all weather when third in a higher grade Amor was disappointing last time out. We pin-pointed the reason and with a combination rest and veterinary, physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment he appears to be back in top form at home. Rob is amongst the most seasoned of the apprentices in this race and is developing into a good jockey who should be a successful professional in time. Amor has a decent draw and we are hoping for a nice run.

The race features of seasoned campaigners who are capable in this grade but there is no obvious standout. John Cesar, Ferryview Place and Rocket Ronnie appear amongst the most likely winners as is often the case in this grade a lot will come down to luck in running and who is feeling the best form on the day.
