Thoughts on Affileo at Lingfield today

Affileo puts her unbeaten record on the line in the 220 at Lingfield today (Saturday 9th of May). Richard Kingscote continues his partnership with the filly in the listed Oaks Trial. It’s a big a step up in grade for the filly but she deserves to take her chance at this level and it’s rewarding for all the team who work so hard to have the opportunity to showcase a horse at this level. She has worked nicely on the grass at home so the switch to the turf shouldn’t be a problem.

All the runners have to beat Wedding Vow who brings strong Irish form to the table finding only subsequent 1000 Guineas winner too good last time.
