Thoughts on Arishka

Arishka makes her racecourse debut at Windsor this evening in the 5.20 (Monday 23rd of April). George Downing will be aboard the two year old filly in the five furlong novice race. She’s a filly that has developed really nicely and has answered every question asked of her at home. She has a good action and the more the ground dries the better. She will learn from today’s experience and she should make into a nice sprinting filly.

Going through the field the main dangers would appear to be amongst the newcomers, Karalini, Nina Petrovna and Swiss Chime were all attractive types on review of our notes at the sales and seem likely to be the ones to get the better of Blasim who ran well enough on debut when finishing a short head in front of our Chitra, but would have to step forward to trouble a debutant who ran a professional race.
