Thoughts on Fiscal Policy

Fiscal Policy is our sole runner today (Tuesday 6th September). He has made the journey up to Catterick to line up in the 3.30 a 6 furlong novice under Jason Hart.

Fiscal Policy was very green on his debut and will hopefully be more professional today. Catterick isn’t the ideal track for a horse for whom the penny is yet to drop on a racecourse but the conditions of the race suited in other respects.

The race pits a few who have not been the most consistent but have plenty of experience against some lightly raced types. Fristel has been consistent in modest handicaps is probably more reliable to produce his running than Caleta Sunrise who may have a shade more ability. Pink Parfait could be interesting on debut given that the standard amongst the rest is not he highest.
