Kirkstall Spirit makes his debut in the 2.10 at Nottingham tomorrow. Rob Winston will be in the saddle for the colts first visit at the racecourse. A nicely bred colt he is a full brother to two stakes winners. This mile maiden looks the minimum trip for him and he is the type to progress with racing. He has progressed gradually in his homework and is ready for his first taste of the racecourse.

Zain City sets the obvious standard of those that have run. Junderstand could build on a promising debut although the form of that race doesn’t look anything special at the moment and she is probably bred to want a bit further. Of the newcomers the Dubawi colt Midnight Meeting is the most interesting and is a full brother to a smart stakes winner.
