Thoughts on Mandria
Mandria runs in the 5.10 at Wolverhampton tomorrow (Thursday 6th of November). Richard Kingscote is in the saddle for the 6 furlong nursery. Mandria has always shown ability at home but has taken time to learn how to race and probably found the ground to soft for her liking on her first two starts. She ran ok in a decent maiden last time out over Kempton but didn’t really see out the seven furlongs adequately. Hopefully everything is now in place for a better showing on the course.
This looks a realistic opportunity for Mandria, Sparbrook has been winning races at this level but looks vulnerable to improvers amongst the less experienced horses. You’re Cool had no luck on his first two starts and showed more on his third start in a Nottingham maiden to suggest he will be a player at this level, finishing third the second has gone out and won a maiden since.
