Thoughts on Mandria’s chances today

Mandria runs in the 6.00 at Wolverhampton this evening (Saturday, 5th of Septemnber). George Baker makes the dash down from Haydock for the ride in in the mile handicap. Mandria ran much better than she had been doing when fitted with a hood for the last time, relaxing nicely and staying on in a pleasing fashion to be beaten a couple of heads over seven furlongs at Kempton. The extra furlong this evening should suit her and if the hood continues to take effect she should be competitive.

There isn’t a lot of strength amongst the opposition, Diamond Runner has at least won a race and sets a standard. She’s Invincible ran a better race on her first attempt over a mile last time. That was a better race than this and she rates the main danger.
