Thoughts on Monkey Miss
Monkey Miss heads to Windsor today, she lines up in a Maiden for 2yo Fillies at 5.30pm with Jack Mitchell in the saddle.
Monkey Miss was a bit green on debut and the heavy ground didn’t help but she was getting the hang of things. She shows a lot of pace at home and it could well be that five ends up being her best trip. However, she looked like she’d stay six last time and things happen a bit slower which should mean she can get involved in the race and learn plenty.
Al Hujaija sets the standard on form to date but Invincible Molly and Falling For You both have scope for further development and can progress past the favourite. Activate was green but hinted at ability and is another who can progress.
Monkey Miss runs in the colours of owner Wayne Clifford having been bred by Sarah Clifford. She will be led up by Ilse Belien who cares for her daily at home.
