Thoughts on our two runners tomorrow

Intrigue
Chepstow – 4.40

Intrigue runs in the 1 mile 2 furlong event at Chepstow on Tuesday with Dane O’Neill riding her. A worry that would come out of an initial look at the race would be the lack of pace in the race. Intrigue likes to come from the back and have something to aim at throughout her race so hopefully one of the others will make a move early on.

African Showgirl has taken big steps forward on her last two starts and if continuing that form over the extra two furlongs here she will take the beating.

Outrage
Yarmouth – 5.20

A quick return to the track for Outrage as we didn’t think he had much of a race at Doncaster last week with the ground against him and being drawn on the wrong side of the track. The ground should be ideal at Yarmouth and hopefully he will return to near the form that saw him win impressively over course and distance last month. The in form Rob Hornby does the steering,  a talented young rider rattling through his claim.

The race looks fiercely competitive and the result will have a lot to do with how things fall. The veteran Waseem Faris is in good heart and running well in higher grades and sets a good standard. Olympic Runner and Discreet Hero looked progressive three year olds and plateaued at a higher level against their peers and this presents a different challenge.
