Thoughts on Passing Star at Nottingham

Passing Star heads to Nottingham this afternoon (Tuesday May 2nd) for the 3.10. Richard Kingscote takes the ride in the mile handicap. Passing Star has never won on the turf but has always competed at a higher level than this. We should get idea today whether the turf is his game or not on his third start for us. He traveled well last time but never got a split until it was too late. He ran a lot of races at a decent level for previous connections and hopefully we can get his confidence back at this lower level.

The race is interesting with several in form runners, Scribner Creek was second over course and distance a few weeks back and followed up with an all weather win subsequently in a weaker race and sets the standard, with several of the others not having to find much to challenge.
