Thoughts on Poet’s Realm
Poet’s Realm makes his racecourse debut today at Kempton in the 4.55. Liam Keniry rides in the 7f Novice. A lovely straightforward horse, he showed little at two but has started to get the hang of things this spring. He will develop with racing.
An interesting looking race, Sunset and Vine and Lady Clementine look to bring a very similar level of form to the race. Its sets a decent bar for anything else to improve past. Doux Esprit fetched plenty as a yearling and has a decent pedigree and is an interesting newcomer. Noya started favourite first time out perhaps suggesting more was expected than was delivered on the day and big step forward would be no surprise.
Poet’s Realm will be running for owner and breeders Mr and Mrs G Middlebrook and will be led up by Ilse Belien who cares for him at home.
