Thoughts on Silently

Silently runs in the 8.10 at Windsor this evening. George Downing rides in the five furlong maiden. The filly was withdrawn at the start a week ago after a nasty incident when her jockey was injured in the stalls by a panicked horse in the adjacent stall. Hopefully that won’t have left too much of a mark on the filly mentally as she wouldn’t have been the best about the stalls early on in her career. She has ability but really needs some match practice and a bit of luck to get going.

This race lacks any real depth the strong favourite Golden Easter is rated 70 and has only been seen once this season when running below that level and returns today after a three month absence. The 64 rated Harlequin Dancer returns from five months on the sidelines so a trun up for the books is very possible here.
