Thoughts on Who’sthedaddy today at Newcastle

Who’sthedaddy made the long trip to Newcastle yesterday to run in today’s 4.55 (29th May). Talented young rider Tom Brown looks to go one spot better for the combination than when finishing runner up on seasonal debut at Bath in the mile handicap. Still learning to race all the time Who’sthedaddy is an improving horse who was stepped up in his homework since. He’s got a reasonable draw and although there is a spot of rain about the clerk of the course is confident that going will remain on the faster sides which will suit the gelding.

The race is a competitive three year old affair with plenty of horses that are still learning and developing. The form standard is set by Rosie Crowe who has shown better form since stepped up to this sort of trip, however the likes of Makin Trouble and Starshaped could all step  up on handicap debut, whilst Rose Acclaim and Miningrocks may also come on for their recent runs and present a threat.  If you’re considering race horse ownership we have a couple of two year olds fast approaching debut with shares still available, the Diskovery syndicates Hilltop Ranger.    And this big striding colt by Holy Roman Emperor    More details can be found on the Horses for Sale page.
