Whitechapel at Windsor on Monday Night

Whitechapel is declared in the 8.40 at Windsor on Monday night (23rd July). Mickael Barzalona takes the ride. Whitechapel has had a few niggling issues since his last run for us but seems to be in good heart at the moment and has been working nicely in preparation for a return to action. He should be suited by the flat track and if he can overcome his tendency to race too keenly he should put in a nice performance from which we can go forward with him. The race looks very open and there is no obvious standout on form, at the same time its hard to rule any of them out from contention. It should be a closely fought contest. Juvenal just hasn’t quite been able to get his head in front yet but drops in class after a making a promising start to his handicap career last time out and nobody rides Windsor more effectively than in form jockey Richard Hughes. Course and distance winner Uncle Fred is another who ought to come into calculations as this looks to be an easier contest than some he has been in of late.
