Winner – Aira Force

Aira Force gained a deserved first career success at Leicester on Monday afternoon. The two year old filly was well ridden by Richard Kingscote. Drawn in the middle of the field she was always travelling comfortably near the front end of affairs. Still moving comfortably she went to the front a couple of furlongs from home. She had the field of 16 in behind her in trouble and was always holding the late surge of Sassy Redhead as she idled close home.

Congratulations to owners Gary & Lesley Middlebrook. The filly was bred by Bearstone Stud and is from a family that generally improve with racing and age. She is by Oasis Dream and a half sister to the smart Raasel a Group 3 winner and Group 2 placed sprinter. She was purchased as a yearling and the win means that of all three yearlings to have run from our purchases in 2021 have now won at two.

Thanks to all the team for their hard work. The yard moves on 20 winners for the year to date at a 14% strike rate.
