Winner – Glam Puss

Glam Puss put up a gritty performance on her second start to record her first win at Southwell yesterday evening. The daughter of Paco Boy was stepping up to a mile following a promising debut over second over seven furlongs. The filly was partnered by Dylan Hogan for owner breeder Vivienne O’Sullivan. Vivienne has been a long time supporter of the yard. This fillies dam was placed in two maidens before he career ended prematurely, so this was a particularly sweet victory.

Glam Puss winning under Dylan Hogan

There is quite a lot of stamina in the female line which traces back to the Normandie Stud family that includes the stayers Duncan and Samuel. Glam Puss should stay a mile and a quarter in due course so there is scope for further improvement. She should continue to progress with racing.
