Thoughts on Outrage at Newcastle
Outrage heads to his beloved Newcastle for the 2:25. David Egan rides for the first time in the 5 furlong handicap. Outrage has an excellent record at the track. In a race where there looks to be plenty of pace it should suit. Drawn in one is not normally ideal if the usual slight bias to the stands side comes into play. He does normally need a run or two to get going after a break, but has done plenty of work at home and looks to hold all his ability on that evidence. There looks to be plenty of pace in the race which should suit Outrage.
Many of these rivals have met before and there isn’t much between them Copper Knight and Fool For You are previous winners of the race, (which is normally run for a lot more prize money and called the Gosforth Park Sprint Cup). They should both go well but in truth a decent case could be made for any of the runners here today and no result would be a shock.
Outrage will be led up by Alice Roberts today. He is regularly ridden Shaun Johnson at home. He races for Capture The Moment, a partnership run by Daniel and Claire. Each partnership is made up of 4-6 people and aims to give an exclusive ownership experience. We currently have a 25% share available in an exciting 2 year old colt.
