Thoughts on Saturday’s Runners

Busy day for the team as we send out 4 runners at 4 different meetings on Saturday 15th June. Starting the afternoon at York where ANDALEEP lines up in the 1.50pm. He runs in the 3 year old plus handicap for female amateur jockeys over 1 mile 3 furlongs 188 yards with Brodie Hampson in the saddle.

Off to Sandown next with HELM ROCK who is having his first run of the turf season in the 2.05pm class 2 handicap for over 1 mile. Rossa Ryan will be looking to repeat the same easy success as the last time this combination teamed up.

ACCRUAL is our third runner of the afternoon, he heads to Bath in the 2.55pm novice stakes over 5 furlongs 10 yards, Pat Cosgrave taking the ride.

We end the day at Leicester with SIEMPRE ARTURO who will be taking part in the 6.18pm handicap over 1 mile 2 furlongs. Dylan Hogan will be looking to be first past the winning post on this gelding tonight.

ANDALEEP

Andaleep has won at York before and actually ran well last time but a slow start meant he had no chance and never really got involved. He has won twice before for Amateur riders and also in apprentice races so these sort of events suit him.

Andaleep

Andaleep runs for owner James Finch. He will be led up by Shannon Pasotti who rides and cares for him daily at home.

HELM ROCK

Helm Rock make his seasonal reappearance in a race he was fourth in last year from a very wide draw, things haven’t really fallen his was on that front today. He well at home and has been aimed at this since having his break. The more rain the better for him.

Helm Rock

Helm Rock runs for owners Capture The Moment VII and will be led up by James Pulley who cares for him daily at home.

ACCRUAL

Accrual was very green on his first run and should take a step forward here.

Accrual

Acrual runs for owners Gary & Lesley Middlebrook, who also bred this gelding. He will be led up today by Epona Miller who cares for him daily at home.

SIEMPRE ARTURO

Siempre Arturo is still a bit of a work in progress and still showed that inexperience on his first turf run last time out. He can hopefully put that experience to use and take another step forward here as he searches for his third win.

Siempre Arturo

Siempre Aruturo was bred by Vivienne O’Sullivan who races the gelding together with Crowd Racing. A really fun racing club with a range of very affordable membership options. He will be lead up Sammy Barnett who cares for him at home.
