Alezanna at Salisbury and Great Charm to Windsor

With the changeable weather plans are changing by the minute but at the time of writing Alezanna will head to Salisbury tomorrow afternoon (Sunday 17th June) to make her racecourse debut over a mile ridden by James Doyle in the 3.25. She is a filly who has really bloomed since joining us and is strengthening all the time. She looks well and has shown some ability on the gallops, however she gives the impression that a faster surface would suit her better. However, unless it is really testing she needs to make a start to her career to progress her education as there is only so much they can be taught at home. Salisbury is a great track to start off a youngster and is also nearby making this an ideal opportunity to introduce her to the racecourse. The opposition looks well up to scratch and Chigun sets a good benchmark as she already has a handicap of 80 and plenty of experience whilst Ensejaam has finished second on both her racecourse appearances, whilst one would expect Port Charlotte to improve on her first appearance and Albanka is very well related and was an expensive yearling.

The opposition is interesting with Top Diktat looking to have conditions to suit and having shown plenty of progression as a three year old. Pat’sLegacy if rediscovering his old form looks like he is at a level he can be very competitive at. Snow Trooper is in good heart having won over course and distance last week and if able to move forward again from that could be vying for the follow up. If handling the softer conditions Great Shot could have a …
