Autocracy at Bath

Autocracy runs tomorrow at Bath (Friday 3rd of August) in the 8.40. Fergus Sweeney takes the ride in the five furlong handicap. The horse has been in good from of late winning at Lingfield before hitting the frame in three starts since then. Once again he has a fair chance, he should have a strong pace to run which will suit him. He is drawn out on a limb in stall nine of nine which isn’t ideal. There is a little rain forecast which should take the jar out of the ground as it can be very fast at Bath. Of his rivals the standout would be Crimson Queen who romped to a seven length victory over six furlongs at the course last week and will be tough to beat if returning in similar form. Arch Walker and Griffin Point will also provide a good test.
