Brief Thoughts on Alaskan Lady

Alaksan Lady runs in the 3.35 at Yarmouth today. Liam Keniry rides the 3 year old filly as she tackles a mile and quarter for the first time having stuck on over a mile late on last time. The going had got fairly soft by the time she ran last time and todays surface should suit better.

It’s fairly open handicap with most of these being unexposed, Mustazeed sets the standard with a solid staying on third last time out in a similar race, whilst the extra distance should be in Dubai Emperor’s favour.

Alaskan Lady runs for the Diskovery Partnership and fun syndicate managed by Daniel & Claire. We currently have a a couple of shares in an exciting two year old filly by Havana Gold, who is having an excellent season. The filly’s dam is Melbourne Memories who was a listed winner at two. She will be led up today by Jade Kent, at home she is looked after by Ilse Belien and normally ridden by Shaun Johnson.
