Fireback at Chester

Fireback runs tonight (29th June) in the 7.55 at Chester. Fergus Sweeney takes the ride. The horse has had a nice build up to the race and hopefully will put up a better show than at Epsom where he missed the break and was never able to get on terms. He is wearing a tongue tie for the first time, to help him with his breathing and to keep him more relaxed. He will have to break better than at Epsom as getting left behind on the tight twists and turns at Chester will do nothing for his chances. The race is incredibly open and a case can be made for many including the well drawn outsider Rules n’ Regulations. Beckermet has been running well of late and has to be considered. Tamareen, Dasho and My Kingdom all have good form coming in but are drawn wide which makes their task a difficult one. Fireback is best suited by top of the ground conditions so hopefully there will be no rain.
