Goffs Breeze Up Sale at Doncaster

You want a horse where the sky is the limit, you want a horse that is ready to run then the breeze up sales is the place to buy your star. This week we’ll head to one of the most successful sales on the breeze up sales on the calendar Goffs at Doncaster.

Last weeks purchase a strong filly by Zebedee.

Breeze Up sales are for horses that have done all the basic training, they do a short gallop to showcase their talents before they are auctioned. They are very nearly ready to race and the sky is still the limit. We are teaming up with Ed Sackville of Sackville Donald in April to find you a star. Ed actually introduced Claire and Dan to each other so we go back a long way and have much to thank him for! As a team every horse we have bought with Ed has been a winner, including the dual two year old winner Dream Approval from the Guineas Breeze Up sale at Tattersalls in Newmarket. She debuted 6 weeks after purchase and won less than a fortnight later enjoyed a successful season and was sold for a profit.
The very first horse Ed bought when setting up Sackville Donald was Group 2 winner Producer from the Doncaster Breeze Up sales. 

The next sale we will be heading to is at Doncaster, a successful that threw up four Royal Ascot winners last year ranging from lightening fast Quiet Reflection to tough middle distance performer My Dreamboat. The breeze will take place on Tuesday the 11th with the auction taking place on Wednesday the 12th of April.
