Great Charm pleases on first start for us

Great Charm making his first visit to the races in over a year made a really encouraging start to his season when finishing third at Chepstow yesterday under George Baker. He just got tired in the final furlong and will improve for the run, he should be an interesting proposition next time if we can find him the right opportunity.

We have built him up slowly, putting a solid foundation of roadwork and schooling on the flat into him before gradually increasing his workload on the gallops. It looks as if the effort of all our team should be rewarded this season. He looked really well in the paddock capturing a second best turned out award in a week for groom Vicki Brooks, largely thanks to his gleaming coat.
