Harry’s Endeavour Goes To Goodwood

Harry’s Endeavour runs in the 2.35 at Goodwood this afternoon (Sunday, 28th August). Timmy Murphy his regular jockey is in the saddle for the mile and three furlong seller. This is a valuable prize for a seller so we thought it a good opportunity for this consistent sort who has picked up a cheque on six of his last seven starts. He wears blinkers for the second time which seemed to help him travel even better last time out than his regular cheek pieces.

The field looks a fairly evenly matched group of three year olds, with Harry rated within 6lbs of the best of the highest rated. Gabster showed improved form to win last time out and has experience of the course including one pretty solid effort in the context of this race from the spring.
