Il Paparazzi’s Chances at Sandown today…

Il Paparazzi makes his racecourse debut at Sandown in the 3.15 today (June 14th). Jimmy Fortune takes the ride in the seven furlong maiden for two year olds. Il Paparazzi is a lovely big colt with a real presence who we absolutely loved at the yearling sales from the moment he stepped out of his box. He has continued to develop the right way and today is another step in his education. His dam won the listed Lingfield Oaks Trial and comes from a family that has produced good mile and a quarter  and mile and a half horses, including the outstanding three year old from last year Camelot. Il Paparazzi will really come into his own next year as he strengthens further, however he should be plenty of fun this year. Today is a starting point and we suspect he will get better the further he goes.

There area lot of unknowns in the race as just two of the contestants have run before of those Downturn looked the more promising, his first start caught the eye and the extra distance should be ideal for him. Of the newcomers Leaderene has some smart relations and is an interesting contendor.
