Lisa’s Legacy chances at Lingfield tomorrow
Lisa’s Legacy runs in the 5.20 at Lingfield tomorrow evening. William Buick takes the ride in the mile and a quarter handicap on the polytrack. Lisa’s Legacy has been consistent in his three starts for us, being placed on each occasion and looks up to winning a race in this grade. Last time was a little bit disappointing as he started favourite for the race and looked to have every chance, in his defence the ground was very fast and ordinary horses broke the track record in three races and he perhaps doesn’t have the turn of foot required on a surface as quick as that. He steps up in trip and that should suit him, as he has always been running on at the end of his races over a mile. His best performance for us was on the polytrack at Kempton and so we’re hoping that plays in his favour. His mother was a four time course and distance winner so winning at Lingfield is certainly in his blood.
The race is very open and a case can be made for any number of runners. Geeaitch is not without a chance dropped in grade and back on the polytrack for the first time since he won. Scamperdale is a course and distance winner in this grade recently enough that despite his advancing years he has to be taken seriously. El Massivo has been out of sorts recently but the drop in trip and grade may help him. Motion Lass could be a danger if the hood helps her settle as she has hinted at ability and is unexposed compared to the rest of these.
