Lovers’ Gait Doubles Up

The filly made it two from two since joining the yard despite the rise in class. She will face another rise from the handicapper but should handle another step up in grade as she bids for a hat trick for owners Simon Hope and Stephen Barrow.

Same horse, same course, same distance, same jockey employing the same well executed front running tactics saw the same result at Bath yesterday afternoon as Lovers Gait powered clear of her rivals under Liam Keniry.

The filly has really benefitted from the transfer to Sarsen Farm from Newmarket and has become more and more settled both at home and critically at the races allowing her to showcase her ability. The opportunity to spend most afternoons turned out has really helped her mentally.

The victory was the third consecutive one for the yard and the fine form of the horses is a credit to all the team who pay attention to all the small details to keep the horses at the top of their game.
