Lycetts Team Champion Award

A relatively new scheme, the Lycetts Team Champion Award celebrates and rewards racehorse training yards that develop a high performance team using the highest standards of employee management, including safe working practices. Alongside the award there is an accreditation system. This allows trainers to benchmark their business and use a trusted quality mark to attract staff, owners and sponsorship. Research shows that participating yards have strengthened their staff retention rates, and combining this with racecourse success – ‘Happy Staff Produce Winners’.

In 2019, Kubler Racing were shortlisted for the Lycetts Team Champion Award, and we received a Gold Accreditation. This is the highest possible status a yard can achieve, after showing strong team ethos and staff engagement. In 2020 the team won the overall award.
