Race Preview – Sunday

Andaleep makes his debut for the yard in the 4.50 at Goodwood. David Egan rides in the ten furlong handicap. Andaleep has only recently joined the yard and we are still learning about him. Looking at his past form this looks like his best trip and he should be competitive at this level if taking to the track.

An open looking race with a few of the runners having excuses for seemingly lesser efforts of late. New Heights looks a solid option. The filly won last time out. She may have benefitted from making the running in a race that lacked pace. However, her previous effort when runner up in a similar race to this still makes her a contender. Previous last time out winner Militry Decoration may find the step up in class a combined with the drop back in distance a challenge. There could still be more to come from Meadram who is lightly raced and has looked to be progressing with racing. Oriental Art has course and distance form. He might well be suited by the drop back in trip and is another who can be involved.

Andaleep belongs to James Finch. He will be led up by Shannon Passotti and overseen by Tamsin Karn.
