Saturday runners

Two runners today, Moondial will line up at Lingfield and Andaleep at Haydock.

Moondial

Moondial is having her third start and runs in the seven furlong maiden at 5.50pm, William Carson will be on board. The filly should appreciate the extra distance and is well drawn.

The race is very difficult to assess with only one of Moondial’s rivals having previous racecourse experience.

Moondial races for the Diskovery Partnership. She will be led up by Epona Miller. She is cared for at home by Natalie Jankiewicz who rides her.

Andaleep

Andaleep will line up in a mile and a quarter handicap at Haydock at 8.45pm under Cieren Fallon. He won on his first start for the yard at Goodwood and bids to bring up the double here.

Andaleeps main rival looks to be the lightly raced Definite who steps up in trip having stayed on over a mile last time out. Star of Valour is probably the biggest danger amongst those who have more form in the book

Andaleep runs in the colours of Owner James Finch and will be led up by Shannon Pasotti who cares for him at home. He is ridden by Mark Lawson at home.
