Settling In

With nine horses in we are beginning to settle into a routine and are assembling a very good support team around us in terms of vets, farriers, nutritionists and physiotherapists – all important for keeping horses at the top of their game. The warm weather has been great for the horses and our pens have been used all day long to give the horses a few quiet hours relaxing out in the autumn sunshine. Cobbs Quay and Fireback have started to put condition on since their purchase at the sales and both look like exciting horses to get the ball rolling next season. The yearlings are all at various stages of being broken in and are learning about their new surroundings. The Sakhee gelding out of Saint Ann, owned by Gary and Lesley Middlebrook, is the most advanced and went for his first little hack around the many bridleways at Whitsbury for a video view his page.
