Spin wins does Whitechapel have a prayer?
A really good day at Lingfield yesterday as Spin Again followed up his win at Kempton last week, it wasn’t as stylish, he overcame a tough draw and had little luck in running but under a cool ride from Richard Kingscote he was game in victory and always had the race under control from a long way out and and was value for more than the winning margin suggests. A replay of the race can be found here, you will unfortunately need a login but this is free and easy to set up. He has come out of the race well and has been entered at Lingfield again next Wednesday. Thanks to the team for their hard work and a special mention to Vicky who turned the horse out beautifully and most importantly to David Dacosta and family for sending us our first winner to train.
Whitechapel has been declared to run in the 4.30 at Lingfield on Friday the 30th of March, John Fahy rides. The race looks a competitive contest with several runners in with a shout. Mister Green has been placed in tougher races than this on his most recent starts and Douze Points looks although he still remains well handicapped following his recent win. Although Whitechapel is on a mark he is capable of winning off, the main concern would he how he handles the bend and the downhill as his best bits of form have come on tracks with long straights and that are level. He seems well in himself and worked satisfactorily in an easy solo spin at the weekend part of which can be seen below.
