Thoughts on Aira Force – Sunday

Aira Force is our sole runner today, she lines up at Beverley at 5.15pm, Richard Kingscote takes the ride. The Sunday Series offers excellent prize money and as such we are keen try and win these races. We have won a race in it each season and picked up several useful placed pots too in the series.

Aira Force is from a family that progresses as they get older. A winning two year old whose final start at two has worked out well. She’s developed over the winter and can hopefully show that on the track this summer. It is a bit of a big ask first time out to step up in grade but worth a go. She got a minor bug earlier in the spring but has done plenty of work in recent weeks. We’re looking forward to her running. The draw is middling, lower would have been better.

Dickie Burd took a step forward returned to turf after a bit of break and a repeat of that probably sets the standard, he is well drawn too. The lightly raced Quandary is open to improvement, having won a novice at Pontefract last time out but has a tricky draw to overcome.

Aira Force runs in he colours of owners Gary & Lesley Middlebrook. She will be led up by Tamsin Karn who rides and cares for her daily at home.
