Thoughts on Al Rufaa
Our final runner of the week will be Al Rufaa who heads to Lingfield to run in the 2pm contest. Dylan Hogan will be on board, the pair having won together two starts ago.
Al Rufaa needs a good pace to aim in a race to be seen to best effect. Hopefully up in class he should get that as with this wide draw it will be tricky if he doesn’t.

The race looks fiercely competitive. Talis Evolvere is building a solid profile and improving with each run. Fantastic Fox has plenty of ability although he does need things to fall right for him in the terms of the way a race sets up. Dragon Icon is an unknown quantity, not seen since running mid-division in the Germany guineas last summer on just his third start, he could be anything.
Al Rufaa runs for owners Carter, Lofthouse and Capture The Moment. He will be led up by Shannon Passotti and overseen by Shaun Johnson who also rides him at home.
