Thoughts on Alaskan Lady
Alaskan Lady runs today at Wolverhampton in the 5.30. Adam McNamara is in the irons for the seven furlong Fillies’ Novice Auction Stakes and the pair are drawn in stall 1. Alaskan Lady should build on her debut. The extra furlong is a plus.

If Candecence matches her debut effort when she won she should be tough to beat, however her next run was disappointing so she isn’t the strongest of favourites. The field is lightly raced and anyone of them could improve. Followthefootsteps was ahead of Alaskan Lady last time out and the time of the race was good and it looked a better race than some of these have run in so with normal improvement for a debut run could be the biggest danger.
Alaskan Lady is by Kodi Bear, out of the Halling mare, Always The Lady. She will be led up today by Billie Portwin and overseen by Shaun Johnson. Alaskan Lady races for the Diskovery Partnership, a syndicate of 5% and 10% shares which is exclusively run by Daniel and Claire.
