Thoughts on Alaskan Lady

Alaskan Lady runs tonight in the 6.30 at Chelmsford City. Richard Kingscote is on board for the one mile handicap and the pair are drawn in stall 6. The filly steps up a furlong after an encouraging fourth on her second start. The fifth has won since giving the form a bit of substance.

In the seven runner field, three finished third on their last start and there isn’t much between Absolute Scenes, She’s A Lion and Hagia Sophia. The field is made of two debutantes and Princess Elektra who would have to show a lot more then she did on debut.

Alaskan Lady is by Kodi Bear, out of the Halling mare, Always The Lady. She will be led up today by James Pulley and overseen by Shaun Johnson.
