Thoughts on Alaskan Lady

Alaskan Lady runs this evening in the 8.20 at Bath. Liam Keniry is aboard the three year old filly for the one mile handicap. The pair are drawn in stall 1. The filly makes her turf and handicap debut today. She has strengthened over the winter and we are looking forward to seeing how she gets on this season.

This is very open contest with several horses bringing consistent enough handicap form at this sort of level to suggest they would be capable of winning. They are taking on a few lightly raced horses some making their first foray into handicap company, several of these also make their first start for new connections.

Alaskan Lady is by Kodi Bear, out of the Halling mare, Always The Lady. She was bred by RBR Bloodstock and is owned by the Diskovery Partnership, a syndicate personally managed by Daniel and Claire. Alaskan Lady will be led up by Ilse Belien, and overseen by travelling manager, Shaun Johnson.

There are still a few shares remaining in the well-bred two year old Diskovery filly by Havana Gold. She also qualifies for the lucrative Great British Bonus scheme, meaning she can win £20,000 extra in GBB races. Get in touch for more information!
