Thoughts on Alaskan Lady

Alaskan Lady makes her debut at Wolverhampton tonight in the 5.00. Adam McNamara is in the irons for the six furlong maiden fillies’ stakes and the pair are drawn in stall 6. Alaskan Lady is a nice filly. She will improve with experience and she will stay further in due course.

Isle of May was disappointing on her most recent start and has been dropped back in trip from seven furlongs and looks the horse to beat. Eastern Delight also made a promising debut and has been dropped back in trip so she could be a danger.

Alaskan Lady is by Kodi Bear, out of the Halling mare, Always The Lady. She will be led up today by Billie Portwin and overseen by Shaun Johnson. The filly races for the Diskovery Partnership, a syndicate of 5% and 10% shares which is exclusively run by Daniel and Claire.
