Thoughts on Amor Invicto at Salisbury
Amor Invicto runs int he 2.25 at Salisbury. Martin Lane takes the ride in the seven furlong maiden. The colt was purchased at the breeze ups and there is still one share available if anyone would like to get involved the athletic son of Holy Roman Emperor. He has a bit of experience having been to the breeze ups earlier in the year but as with most of our runners one would expect plenty of improvement for this debut experience. He has a good draw against the rail. He has a lovely light action so probably would be suited by softer ground if there was a lot of rain.
There is very little form on offer in the race and on that basis its very difficult to work the race out. Bobby Wheeler put up a reasonable show on debut three months ago and as a result probably sets the standard.
