Thoughts on Andaleep
Andaleep runs in the 4.30 at Southwell this afternoon. Simon Walker is aboard for the 11 furlong amateur riders contest.
Andaleep was a touch disappointing last time out at Kempton in a race that we thought he would go very close in. There was no obvious reason for the run and he has trained well since. Hopefully it was just an off day and he can bounce back here.
A fairly open lookig race. The consistent Way of Life – who is co-incidentally a half brother to Zulu Girl and Ciara Pearl both fillies that we have trained to win races is probably the standard setter. Sarsons Risk has been running over jumps and over further on the flat, but has won at a mile and half in the past. This does represent a bit of a drop in class for him so he has to enter calculations. Throne Hall has a similar profile and is another who has dropped to a dangerous level.
Andaleep runs in the colours of James Finch. He will be led up by Shannon Passotti who rides and cares for him at home.
