Thoughts on Andaleep – Monday

Andaleep runs in the 3:45 at Windsor this afternoon (Monday 29th of May). Richard Kingscote will be aboard for the 10 furlong handicap.

Andaleep made a good start to his season in a fiercely competitive handicap at Newbury ten days ago. This quicker surface ought to be a plus for him and he has run well off short turn arounds in the past. He has a good record at the track, he recorded two wins here last season including over this trip.

Despite the small field this looks an interesting race. The lightly raced Peace Man won over course and distance last time and its hard to know how much progression is required. It seems likely that some will be required as Paradis had some very good form in three year old only races last season. He has been gelded over the winter and further progression makes him the one to beat.

Andaleep will be led up by Shannon Passotti who rides and cares for him at home. He runs in the colours of owner James Finch.
