Thoughts on Arishka

Arishka returns to Newcastle this afternoon in the five furlong handicap at 3.45. Kieran O’Neill who has partnered the filly to two victories is back on board. She steps back down in trip after failing to see out six last time out, but retains the blinkers in a bid to recapture her winning form of earlier in the year. She has drawn on the stands rail in stall 13.

The race features the first four home from a very similar contest last month, Qaraat seeing off Kyllachy Warrior, Landing Night and Be Proud on that occasion. Mutabaahy is beat Qaraat over course and distance earlier in the week and is another to throw in the mix in which a case could be made for most and its likely that if the race were run five times it would result in five different winners.

Arishka is by Dandy Man, out of Symbol Of Peace. She races for the Diskovery Partnership and Crowd Racing. She will be led up by James Pulley and overseen by Shaun Johnson.

We recently launched an exciting new Diskovery Partnership. The partnership will race a precocious filly is by first season sire Kodi Bear. There are just a couple of 5% and 10% shares still available.
