Thoughts on Arishka

Arishka runs in the 5.30 at Windsor today (6th May). Robert Winston rides the filly in the five furlong sprint. Arishka bids to land a hat-rick following good wins at Newcastle and Nottingham for her owners The Diskovery Partnership and Crowd Racing. Arishka is drawn a bit away from the normally favoured stands rail but the field is not huge.

Arishka sets the standard here on recent form and her biggest threats seem likely to come from the less exposed runners. Invincible Larne ran with promise first time over five furlongs but hasn’t really gone forward since over six furlongs, a drop back to five may see and improvement on this handicap debut. Finch Hatton and Turquoise Friendly both also make their handicap debuts having shown a bit of promise in novice company.

Aegean Mist is a course and distance winner as a two year old and on her best runs at two poses a threat, she was disappointing on her seasonal debut however.

Arishka will be lead up by Andy Williams and overseen by Travelling Manager Shaun Johnson this evening. She races for the Diskovery Partnership and Crowd Racing. There are limited 5% and 10% shares left in an exciting Swiss Spirit two year old filly to race for Diskovery Partnership.
